Project Description:

The client is one of the airline companies in the Philippines which pioneered the budget airline market. It has flown over 150 million passengers since inception.

The objective of a pilot preflight briefing is to gather meteorological and aeronautical information necessary for the conduct of a safe and efficient flight. To avoid an aircraft accident the key is familiarizing the pilot with useful information (i.e. airport and weather information) and knowing not to exceed the limitations of the aircraft or their skillset. It also includes route information, alternate plans,  and other flight information relevant to the pilot. Traditionally, the information is printed and put in a folder before giving it to the pilot. The client wanted to create a tablet-based app that pilots can use as a digital version of the preflight briefing folder.
